The Samsung BD-D6700 Blu-ray Disc Player offers 3D full HD 1080p visuals, online connectivity and several other innovative features in a sophisticated design.

Since it can play Blu-ray 3D discs in full HD 1080p (1920 x 1080 pixels), you can enjoy the wraparound visuals and high resolution picture quality that many Blu-ray discs offer. You'll need a 3D HDTV or home theater projector, a cable that supports 3D pass through and 3D glasses (sold separately) to complete your 3D experience.

Your new BD-D6700 can also convert 2D source material to 3D, so even if you don't have 3D discs you can still enjoy a simulated 3D experience. It will also upscale your standard DVDs for enhanced picture quality closer to the crisp images of Blu-ray discs, up to near-HD quality.

Since there are not a lot of Blu-ray 3D discs yet, this player is capable of converting your 2D content to 3D so you can still experience realistic visuals in simulated 3D.

DVD Upscaling

DVDs are great for watching classic films and new releases alike, but they aren't capable of producing the same crisp, clear visuals of Blu-ray. With the BD-D6700 you can see your DVDs with enhanced quality, since it upscales them for visuals closer to the look of full HD (up to 1080p).

Built-in Wireless Capability

This player has buil-in Wi-Fi capability, so you can connect to your home network connection to take advantage of BD Live bonus features from the internet and online streaming.

SmartTV w/ Samsung Apps

Once you're connected to the internet, you can enjoy Samsung SmartTV, which lets you turn your TV into a web-enabled interactive gateway to interact, watch, play and share with friends. Samsung Smart Hub consists of over 200 apps available through this proprietary platform, as well as streamlined channels including movie channels, TV programming, sports and news. The "All Search" lets you type a phrase into the search window and access a list of material from subscribed channels, the internet, a home network and other wirelessly connected devices, including smart phones.
